Turning a long video into a useful clip should be straightforward. Whether you want to keep a highlight, combine a few moments or extract audio, TubeCrop brings those tools together in your browser.
Start with a video file or a supported link, preview your selection and choose how to export it. For more involved projects, open the advanced Studio editor.
Choose between lossless and exact cuts
TubeCrop offers two approaches to trimming:
- Lossless cutting copies compatible streams without re-encoding, preserving their original quality. Cut boundaries may move to safe points, so you can review the effective interval before downloading.
- Exact cutting re-encodes the video to match your selected start and end points.
When you import a file and download it without changes, TubeCrop can preserve the original file byte for byte.
Keep it simple—or open Studio
The basic editor is useful for a quick trim or adjustment. Studio adds a timeline for projects that need more control.
You can combine multiple sources, split and reorder segments, work with separate video and audio tracks, and add transitions between compatible adjacent segments. Waveforms help you see where speech, music and quieter sections occur.
For example, you could join two highlights, add background music and soften the audio between them. Transitions, overlays and other visual changes require rendering, so export time depends on the project and source material.
Adjust video and audio
TubeCrop also lets you change brightness, rotation and playback speed, extract audio or create a short GIF.
Studio provides additional controls for positioning, cropping, opacity and chroma key, alongside audio volume and fades. You can preview your edits before exporting.
Available formats and processing options depend on the source codecs and the changes you make. Some combinations support copying the original streams; others require conversion.
Download your edit or share a clip
Keep the result as a download, or use clip publishing when available to create a public playback page and an embed link.
Published clips have limits on duration, size and retention. Check the current limits before submitting, and remember that public gallery listings require moderation. Keep your private management link secure—it allows you to manage the clip.
